This past weekend I had a slammed pack shooting schedule. It seems to always be this way from April until the fall. Anyway, people kept telling me it was going to rain and yes…I had watched the weather but I hate cancelling a session due to rain. Most clients contact me in a panic when they hear that it may rain. They are always surprised to learn that a non sunshiney day is not a bad thing and that as long as we are not in a downpour the show can go on. I have even gotten some really SWEET rain photos before so sometime you just have to trust that it will work out and embrace what the universe throws your way. So Saturday I had back to back sessions and this was the first of those. Yep, we got rain…but the photos we got turned out amazing. I love clouds…they are like mother nature’s own softbox and the light can be magical. So, that’s the story behind this session. I was lucky to have a chill couple and we waited out a few downpours. I am in love with the end results!
