The Hayloft in McLeansville, NC is one of my favorite venues to photograph weddings. There are fields (even corn!!!), farm equipment, old buildings and sheds, gorgeous pine trees, and of course, a fabulous red barn. I did not get to meet Katelyn until the day of her wedding since she lives out of state but through our online and phone communications I knew she was going to be amazing to work with. I was right because she was an absolute peach to and is gorgeous!
Katelyn had so many great ideas to make her wedding day memorable and to create some awesome photos including bringing in an old (super cool) blue truck to take photos with…what an fabulous prop! I wish I could bring this truck with me everywhere. Katelyn and Joe chose to do a 1st look and decided to hold a bunch of balloons in front of their faces and let them fly away just before the big reveal. This was my first time doing a 1st look this way and I really enjoyed it. Because we did a first look we were able to capture lots of amazing bride and groom photos along with knocking out bridal party photos before the ceremony.
I am in love with so many photos from their big day and I am so happy with how they all turned out. What a lucky girl I am to have worked with this awesome couple!
